Descent: Anniversary Edition Level - Galactic Arachnid

The Robot Consipracy built the Galactic Arachnid
out of spare parts, junk, and dead robots. It barely holds together, but this
large, spider-shaped interplanetary ship has been producing robots and delivering
them to mines already cleared by PTMC pilots! The consipracy cannot be crushed
until YOU destroy this ship. The human hostages are in dire straits, because the
'bots are using them for bizzarre experiments intended to produce human-robot
combinations. You will wind your way through the body of the spider, avoid
traps, find hidden weapons caches, destroy robots, rescue the humans and finally
face the return of the Level 7 Boss! He's back, but he's beatable if you just
*never stop moving*.

This level is also called "The Seventh Man" - there are seven hostages, and even
if you lose the first six, you will have 45 seconds after destroying the boss
to rescue the seventh and get out. It can be done, because the Boss, the Seventh
Man, and the exit are all in the large, ball-shaped room at the end of the level.

Galactic Arachnid has also been designed for great anarchy play of up to eight
pilots - lots of secret hiding spots for ambushes, plenty of weapons and the
huge ball room is great for aerial dog-fights. The level can also be played in
cooperative mode (it's great fun to gang up on the big guy).
