Description: This is a huge long space station. The puzzles and devilish traps
will kill you again and again. I would be surprised to hear of anyone who is able
to go through it in their first try (except maybe on training). However, once you
know the switches and ways of the station, you should be able to complete it
on rookie without dying, and probably even hotshot. Then again maybe not. It's hard
to judge a level's difficulty when one knows all the tricks, but the fun should come
in trying to figure it out. It is quite fun even for me.

Background: This is my third completed descent. The first two were multiplayer
levels: Viper and Razor. It is the first with monsters and all, and hopefully not the
last. I'm thinking about making it the finale in a series of progressively more
challenging stations. This is the final version as of October 24th. I've adjusted the
difficulty because even I ran out of ammo on Hot Shot. There should be enough now
to get through even on Ace without running out. Also preliminary versions were too
easy near the end of the level, so I had to remove a couple shield spheres and
added a couple bots to the run towards the reactor to make it more desperate.
Making this level took at least 50 hours to complete for five whole days I
had no life whatsoever, and testing took me about 20 hours in between. Hopefully
I've removed any bugs, as I encountered only one. It happened when I killed a
spider that was supposed to release eight baby spiders. I reduced the number to
three and haven't encountered it since. I hope it works. I can't really account for
system crashes because I just used Devil and tried to keep things pretty normal.
I haven't included any soundtrack to go along with it in this version, but
I may include some in a HOG that I'm going to make once I complete a few levels.
I'm thinking about writing a little faq-like thingie for making descent levels and how
to best make good looking levels and do other stuff. I still don't know every single
command in Devil, but I got lighting down pretty well and that's what a lot of levels
need a good dose of. Following are spoilers...don't read them if you don't like a
good challenge, but it's still a challenge even if you do.

Spoilers: Here are the answers to your burning questions.

Q.	I keep running out of energy and missiles...what's up?

A.	Shoot the enemies instead of the walls...there's a fuel center in the
upper red section, but don't count on getting there if you can't shoot straight.

Q.	How do I get the blue key without getting blasted?

A.	There are many ways but you should know that when you enter the room
with the key, there will be a vulcan man above you and a cloaked hulk on either side.
Don't go after the hulk on the left (by the key) first because that will trigger the
producer and you'll really be screwed. And since the vulcan guy takes a second to
get into firing position, I prefer to go after the missile hulk on the right first. Then fly
up into the corridor where the vulcan guy is and launch a homing missile to take him
out. Now you've got a one-on-one with a cloaked missile hulk. After you kill him,
get the blue key by flying through the upper corridor and back down. Now either run
for it out where you came in, or try to fly through the secret door before it closes.
Or you could try running in and out, which works a little better than I wanted it to.

Q.	Where can I find some firepower in the blue section?

A.	Below the blue section secret hallway (with three pairs of wall lights) is
another secret room. Go there for a quad.

Q.	Why are the enemies in the red section so devious?

A.	Supervisors rule!

Q.	Where's the red key?

A.	Kill everyone. (See previous answer)

Q.	How do I open the door after the red one? How do I open the door below
the platform with all the purple dudes?

A.	Doors have two sides...shoot the other one.

Q.	How the hell do I get to the reactor room without cheating?

A.	By reading this...get the cloak before you run in the red door. If you're lucky
the cloaked monsters will leave a cloak behind. Leave it until you're ready to make
your run to the reactor. But hurry because they don't stay around forever. However,
if you're unlucky, you'll need to find the one that's hidden...Hint: Near the mega missile
but you have to open the door somehow, and not by shooting the other side.

Q.	Ok, I give, how do I get the cloak?

A.	Find the mega missile and two shield balls. There's a secret door in that tube,
but you can't shoot it to open it. The one way door outside is the switch, but you must
fly through it from the bottom to open the secret door. Shoot it from the top, fly through it
and back, and rush to the cloak before the door closes. There's barely enough time to
make it. Trust me.	As soon as you get the cloak run your ass up to reactor room or you
will die.

Q.	I died past the red door and I can't get back to my stuff cause there are too
many monsters...what do I do?

A.	Restart the level. You're screwed if this happens to you. I did this on
purpose so you only got one chance to kill the reactor once you're past the red
door. Don't die and you'll live :)

Q.	Is this level easy or is it me? Why is this so hard?

A.	If it's too easy you should try not cheating or change the difficulty from
training to something else. If it's too hard, try cheating first and getting through it
to get the hang of the level, then do it on training without...in other words, practice
and learn.

Well that's it. Good luck. Thanks go to Interplay/Parallax for the greatest game
ever, Achim for Devil, Stefan for Dtx, and Arlo for helping me learn Devil. And
Ledzep finally inspiring me to get my ass in gear and make awesome levels again.
