Anarchy is still fun, though! Hence... my nickname. I think the personality of the level comes from the 14 door puzzle (Hint: you don't have to reverse directions to solve the puzzle, also, it would be easiest to slide through all the doors, rather than trying to turn your ships "nose" by banking through the doors) Also note the addition of an Earth Shaker missile in the previousely inaccessible ventilation shaft behind the mega missile, yes, you can reach it if you puzzle over it awhile! =þ Plus the additional weapons and missiles are all there, you just have to start shooting the walls, floors, and ceilings. Okay, wow, you endured all of that pseudo legal jargon... cool now are you ready for outright answers to the puzzles and tricks in my level? if no, then click on the little X in the upper right hand corner... if yes, then scroll down! You still have a chance to turn back before you get direct answers to the puzzles and ruin your fun! Okay, if you insist on knowing, here it is: ======================================================================= GAUSS GUN: There are two of these, and they are located, one near the blue flag, and one near the red flag, behind hidden but unlocked doors ======================================================================= PLASMA CANNON: To get the plasma cannon, you must press up next to the fan and shoot the door open from the inside. Aim good! its far to the right. ======================================================================= PHOENIX CANNON: You must find the "Flunk out lane" of the 14-door Puzzle, once you do, you will find that the lane curls around to a one-way door. on the other side of the one way door is a fan and behind it two Phoenix Cannons. Shoot open the hidden door behind the Phoenix cannons and then fly quickly back thru the one way door before it closes and locks you out. Once inside you can get the deadly and dangerous Phoenix cannon! ======================================================================= MEGA MISSILE: Once you have the plasma cannon, you need to shoot open the door behind and to the left of the mega missile from where the plasma cannon was found. Don't leave the ventilation shaft until you do. Then you have to get into the ventilation shaft of the mega missile To do this, fly through the back wall of the fuel center that is across from the fans. Yes, there is another fan back there. You need to shoot open the door behind that fan. Its to the right. You can't see the door, but once you hit it, you need to jam around three corners to make it in the door before it closes. Once you are in, it's a simple matter to follow the caged shaft until you get to the access panel (door) you opened from the plasma cannon shaft. The mega missile is just inside and to the right. ======================================================================= EARTH SHAKER MISSILE: Once you have the Mega Missile you can shoot open the locked door right next to the Shaker missile behind the fan. Then it is simply a matter going through the procedure of following the moves to get the Phoenix cannon and following the ventilation shaft all the way back to the now open door to the Shaker missile. Note: you can open this locked door from two other places without getting to the Fusion cannon. Warning, this requires great accuracy! 1. Shoot it open from the plasma gun shaft, or 2. Shoot it open from just outside the ventilation shaft, shooting thru the now open door that leads to the Mega missile. One more thing, if you follow the ventilation shaft all the way up and behind the shaker missile, you will be rewared with an Ammo Rack! ======================================================================= SPREADFIRE CANNON: This useful weapon is hidden in the reactor room behind a hidden door directly in line with the reactor adjacent to the floor. Hint: if you find the cloaking device, you can get the spreadfire cannon without getting hit by the reactor. Be careful, that reactor is nasty! ======================================================================= HELIX CANNON: You have to shoot the door open in the access tunnel that leads to the reactor room under the fan. When you do, scramble around the corner thru the reactor room and there is a door directly beneath the door you entered, if you're fast enough, you can have one of the two Helix cannons. ======================================================================= CLOAKING DEVICE: This elusive device (no pun intended ha!) is directly behind the locked door behind player zero... you need to find the tunnel that curls directly over and under the starting point of player zero... there is a hidden door somewhere on the convex side of the curl of the tunnel... ======================================================================= FUSION CANNON, SHIELD TO ENERGY CONVERTER, EXTRA ENERGY BOOSTS |-------------------------------------------------------------------- | 3-> [L] [L] 7a-> [L] <-6b [O] Flunk-out lane | | | | |------------------------------ [O] [O]<-2 [O] 5-> [L] 8a->[L]9a->[L] Energy boost drive | | | | |------------------------------ | 1-> [O] 4-> [L] 7b-> [L] <-6a 8b->[L]9b->[L] Fusion avenue |-------------------------------------------------------------------- LEGEND: "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times..." [O] Open (unlocked) door [L] Locked door, will open when you fly through the correct trigger. Just follow the pattern from 1 to 9, note how the paths for the two rewards are the same until you reach trigger 6, there the paths are identified by {a,b}. Trust me! it's really possible to get through this puzzle succesfully! Don't worry about being locked between the eighth and ninth triggers, the doors are unlocked to allow you to retreat to the flunk-out lane. Please note that the task of increasing your shields to 200 is possible, but you must solve both sides of the puzzle. 1. Start at the Fusion avenue to get the Shield to Energy Converter The converter is hidden behind the Fusion cannon opposite the Omega cannon behind its own prison door! 2. End in the Energy boost drive to get the extra energy needed 3. Oh yea, don't forget to push the little red button that powers your shields up, what? it isnt red? well, push it anyway! ======================================================================= OMEGA CANNON: This item is hidden behind the Fusion cannon, there is an illusion wall in the Fusion Cannon chamber, and you have to shoot open another prison door to get to the most powerful short range weapon there is. ======================================================================= AFTERBURNERS: Ah... yes, where did I hide these puppies? There are four of them in these locations: 1. Directly behind player 0, next to the cloaking device 2. Directly behind player 7, the path to the mega missile 3. Direclty behind player 5, the flunk out lane 4. At the end of the escape tunnel from the energy torus ======================================================================= I hope you have enjoyed my level as much as I enjoyed creating it. This is the first level that I have made. It was quite a learning experience.
