SpeedFlag Created by: FractalD of the EDGERunners Descent Players Guild Single-Player: Yes (well, without enemies) Co-Op: What's that? Anarchy: Yes Team/Flag: Yes (Hence the name) Editor Used: Devil v2.1h Create Time: Approx. 11 hours Base Level: None Items: Super Laser x 0 || Quad Laser x 0 || Vulcan Cannon x 1 || Spreadfire x 2 || Plasma Cannon x 0 || Omega Cannon x 1 || Homing Missiles x 8 || Guided Missiles x 8 || Flash Missiles x 8 || Mercury Missiles x 4 || Smart Missiles x 4 || Afterburners x 8 || Blue Flag x 1 || Red Flag x 1 || BTW, there's also 1 EarthShaker, but its just a teaser, you can't get to it. Notes: This level is fairly large in layout at least, and is designed for (as the name implies) fast games of capture-the-flag. The entire level is designed to promote speed as much as possible. Most of the hallways are wide for some maneuverability, except where they split off. I haven't tested this level with more than 4 people as this is written, so I'm not sure how the balance is for weapons. If you find that there are too many or not enough of certain weapons let me know. There is only one vulcan cannon and no guass cannons in this level (to the annoyance of some) to promote high speed plasma/laser duels which I personally find much more fun. Thanks: Thanks to all the EDGERunners, particularily Arloe and Grifter who do most of the organizational work of the guild. Thanks to Parallax and Interplay for a great game and thanks to the Parallax team for the level Descent II Stadium, to Luke Schneider for PTMC Park, and to all the members of the Pyro Pilots Guild for kicking my butt again and again. :) Reaching me: My name's David Bartel email: nwu591@freenet.mb.ca personal WWW: www.mts.net/~abartel/descent.htm EDGE Runners Guild WWW: www.mts.net/~eefc/ email: grifter@loewen.com * Copyright / Permissions * Please do not modify this level in anyway without the consent of me, the creator.
