STRONGHOLD by Michael "Powerhouse" McKinney Jr mpmjr@nbn.net I created this level for those who want a different looking level. This level has 164+ 'custom' textures. I would say it was inspired by someone, but they turned out to be just a-holes. Stuck too much on themselves. I won't be promoting them. :) The First (1.0) StrongHold was purely experimental and made as I went along. The second (1.10) was made with planning and added many things. I wanted to make it look like it could be a real setting. The last (1.20) was a very organized design and improved how many cubes were used. It is far better than anything close to it. The textures are from real pics. There are three places that are energy stations. They are not easily noticed. The "ghost" was added to give a bit of chaos to the level. Look Out!! Even though the ghost uses no weapons, it is more than able to hurt you. And of course, he likes stealing!! StrongHold requires Descent II 1.2 or Vertigo Series in order to see the custom textures and lighting effects. The castle "StrongHold", is a fast moving level that has a "able to get out of anywhere" feel to it. There are also no mines in the level. So ambushing will have to be earned!! To make it interesting, many fusion cannons have been added. The level also features some large areas for a good dogfight. This level is not for lamers!!! This is a great level for Anarchy, Flag, or hoard. HAVE FUN!!!!! This level was created using DMB2 v2.6, taking 89+ hours. Thanks to the makers of such a great mission builder!! The textures are made from various sources on the internet and handmade. They were redone and touched up using Paint Shop Pro 4.12. This level or textures may NOT be used as a base for other levels unless permission is obtained from the author. I don't mind people using the textures as long as they ask and it's in good taste. ;) Happy Hunting!!
